In our walks of life, Angela and I have rubbed shoulders with so many wonderful, creative and kind-hearted people from all spheres of influence - from stay-at-home mums, to missionaries and teachers, and one thing they all have in common is that they carry such a heart for parents and families trying to raise the next generation well - and as we began planning for this new year we really wanted to be able to share the heart of our friends with you. Since this year, 2023, coincides with the year 5783 in the Hebrew Calendar (the word for which is breakthrough or expansion/fruitfulness) we thought it would be so fitting to "break through" into the world of PODCASTING!
As we've been prepping for our launch, we've had some of the most profound and special conversations with friends, new and old, and we cannot wait to share their "golden nuggets" of wisdom with you! No need for metal detectors here - just your phone and a pair of ears :)
Our first season is all about raising the next generation of world changers and in our first episode we chat with my lovely childhood friend, Donaleen. Donaleen has been a primary school teacher for 23 years and has taught in 4 different countries, from Zambia to Australia (where she now lives with her husband and 2 boys). Our chat is filled with stories and guidance for parents who are trying to do the best for their children and she shares such wonderful insights from her life as a teacher and mother we are certain it will rock your socks off with blessings!
