An interview with a 14-year-old eco-warrior, talking about prayer and action

Alight House is releasing it's new box for kids age 6-12yrs and this one is all about prayer! Each box contains crafts, stories and activities so that kids can really get stuck in and enjoy the process of learning to pray! To explain simply what prayer is we will be using a Five Finger Prayer method, where each finger represents a different aspect of prayer.

As we were working on our prayer box, we heard all about Jamie Hawker, an amazing 14 year old who is taking the world by storm. Jamie co-authored a book about climate change called Changing the Climate - applying the Bible in a Climate Emergency. It was amazing to chat to this young eco-warrior who gave us practical advice on how to live more responsibly in a climate emergency. We asked Jamie how kids can pray into climate change and how they can action those prayers in practical ways.

Pray that people would be inspired to take action on climate change.
